Coccinelle (Ladybird) was born August 23, 1931 in Paris, France. At age 22 she made her debut at "Chez Madame Arthur" a small cabaret in Paris, singing a Daniele Darrieux song. She quickly moved on to "Carrousel of Paris" and was by this time a star.

She had SRS in 1958 performed at Dr. Georges Burou's clinic in Casablanca, Morocco. When the journalists found out, Coccinelle appeared in all the magazines, which made Dr.Burou famous and Coccinelle a superstar! She was the first TG woman to have to change sex in France.

In 1970 Coccinelle went on a world tour visiting Australia, Canada and South America. After spending a number of years in Berlin she returned to Paris and "Chez Madame Arthur"

Coccinelle opened a cabaret in Marseilles in South East France, where she lives today. After three successful years "Chez Coccinelle" closed it's doors in 2000. Today She is enjoying an early retirement and life with friends and family.
