[Eva Robin's]

Eva Robin's is a very successful film actress, TV celebrity, fashion model and recording artist who was born December 10, 1958 in Bologna, Italy. Eva does not take hormones and hasn't had SRS or plan to.

Eva's own term for herself is hermaphrodite. She says that while she was an apparently "normal" boy growing up, at puberty she developed breasts and her body failed to masculinize like the other boys'. She knew that she was fated to be a woman, and changed her name accordingly. The "Eva" part of her name comes from a comic strip: a friend said she was similar to the comic strip character Eva Kant. "Robin' s" was decided upon during a vacation, a friend was reading a Harold Robbin' s book. Thereby Eva Robin' s, but with single "b", was reborn. You can find her last name spelled in different ways (Robin's, Robins and Robbins) in film credits and on the web but "Robin's" is the correct one.

Eva lends much of her spare time to the Italian Miss Alternative show, which is an annual Aids benefit in Bologna.

She has starred in several Alessandro Benvenuti films. "Belle al Bar" and "I Miei Piu' Cari Amici" are two of my personal favourites (see page 2). Eva has appeared on televison in "Lupo solitario (Lone Wolf) , Matrioska, Araba Fenice, Primadonna, Il Bello Delle Donne 2" (see page 3) and "L'auto del silenzio" a made for television movie directed by Andrea Adriatico (see page 2). In 1993 Eva starred in the stage productions of "La dannazione di Faust", "la voce umana" (The Human Voice), "Ferita" (Hurt) in 1995 and "Salomè in 2000"
